Resident Doctors Don Begin Indefinite Strike Action

Resident Doctors don begin indefinite strike action, according to di National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).

NARD talk say dem dey demand immediate payment of di 2023 MRTF, release of circular on one-for-one replacement, and payment of skipping arrears.

Dem still wan make dem increase di CONMESS salary to di 2014 value, pay di arrears of consequential adjustment of minimum to omitted doctors, and reverse di downgrading of membership certificate by MDCN.

Other demands be payment of MRTF, new hazard allowance, skipping, and implementation of corrected CONMESS for State Tertiary Health Institutions, plus payment of omitted hazard allowance arrears.

Dem give Federal Government two weeks to answer their demands, but e no happen, so dem enta strike action.

House of Representatives Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas, try hold meeting with NARD leaders to stop di strike, and promise to meet with President Bola Tinubu for di matter.

E talk say dem go set up committee to address di issue, and beg NARD make dem wait two weeks make dem find solution to di matter.
