Imran Khan’s full name is Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi. He was born in Lahore, Pakistan on October 5, 1952, his father Ikramullah Khan Niazi was a civil engineer and belonged to a Pashtun Niazi tribe. Among the ancestors of Imran Khan is Barkha Niazi who was Sher shah Suri in the 16th century. He was the governor of Punjab during the reign of Sher Shah Suri and was also the leading army general of Sher shah Suri. Obviously, the quality of leadership was inherited by Imran Khan.

Imran Khan was Shy and quiet in his childhood, Imran was interested in cricket. And at the age of 16, Imran Khan made his debut in first-class cricket in Pakistan.

Imran Khan did his college at the College of Lahore and later for higher studies. Similarly, Imran Khan earned a degree in Philosophy and Politics Economics from Oxford University in England.

Imran Khan played cricket in England from 1972 to 1976 at Oxford University. Meanwhile, at the age of 20, Imran Khan made his debut in the Pakistani Test team against England.

With his brilliant performance, Imran Khan was made the captain of the Pakistani team and in the first year of his captaincy, he took eight wickets for 52 runs in a Test match, which was his best bowling performance. Imran’s mother had inspired him a lot to come to the past test bowlers and to come in the list of great all-rounders of the world.

After this World Cup, Imran Khan retired from cricket and in 1994, Imran Khan built the Shaukat Khan Memorial Cancer Hospital in Lahore, named after his mother, which became Pakistan’s first cancer hospital.

Imran Khan is known as a great leader in Pakistan and he started the Tehreek-e-Insaf party in 1996 to change the poor political system of Pakistan but his political career of 22 years was full of ups and downs.
