Adamawa Governor, Fintiri, don reduce curfew to 12 hours afta di looting palava
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, don adjust di 24-hour curfew wey dem bin put for di state, now e go last for 12 hours every day.
Dem bin put di curfew to tackle di wahala wey hoodlums bin dey cause wen dem dey attack people and dey carry property, from government warehouses and private-owned stores.
Di hoodlums, wey hunger and hardship push, bin target food and oda tins wey cause plenty problem for di people’s livelihood.
Adamawa Police spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, don confirm say dem don arrest some of di suspects, and dem dey prepare to bring dem go court.
But, afta one meeting with security chiefs, di governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, announce say dem don reduce di curfew.
E go dey for 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, to allow residents do essential tins.
Governor Fintiri tell parents say make dem ensure say dia pikin go school to promote normalcy and make business run well.
E still come give strong warning to hoodlums and residents to obey di curfew and cooperate with security people if dem question dem.
